Subscription feed problems?

Okay, the RSS:Podcast link on the website appeared to have succumbed to either seppuku or some form of foul play, but damned if I can figure out what happened.

By a show of comments, how many people had KAMN #1 show up in their podcatchers automatically, and how many had to browse here and download it manually?

The problem should be resolved now, but I am curious to see what happens when the next show it posted.

  1. You can’t figure it out?

Wait, you’re not admin’ing the box it’s on, are ya? Ok then. ;)

  2. I was just about to DL the episode here. I won’t be able to listen to it yet, as I am only a third of the way through the book.

  3. I was poking around Tuesday morning and saw the new show posted and manually downloaded it before I noticed it was already downloaded. So I got it twice.

  4. No Sean, I’m not the admin anymore for the servers my websites are on. I don’t even have shell access to anything, so I have to do all my editing through a web interface.

Call it one step in my recovery process: the letting go of root access. And you know how huge a step that was for me!

  8. I had to download it manually, but then (after our email) I used the rss link which worked OK. The contents of the link changed slightly, I think the directory was different from the non-working and working one.
