A little outside the usual topics, but I absolutely had to do this.
I finally got caught up on all of today’s sports scores, and discovered what a day it was for my old school.
Maryland Men’s Soccer: won NCAA Championship (were ranked 1st in the country coming in, 4th consecutive year making at least the semifinals).
Maryland Women’s Basketball: won (ranked 8th in the country).
Maryland Men’s Basketball: won (ranked 17th in the country).

Hey! I went to the University of Maryland. Well, my Mother-in-law thinks I did, and I have the sweat shirt to prove it!
Actually, I went to the University of Delaware but apparently she thinks Delaware is a city in Maryland.
Wha? How is that possible? Delaware has a couple of the neatest beaches on the East Coast!
Ah, yes. I spent quite a few vacations in Rehobeth Beach. But Maryland has at least one beach city, too. That area is called the DelMarVa peninsula for a reason
Rehoboth is wonderful. We’re into our fourth generation of annual visits.
