Because I’ve had more than enough this week.
Turns out that Kuato is malignant. So I have one big ass cancer inside me.
Next step, get it out. Then they’ll do more tests on it.
I don’t know when the surgery is, not sure if it’ll be here in Tucson, or in Phoenix. Don’t know what stage, not sure how malignant it is.
I’ll be talking with the surgeon soon to plan the next step.

Dude.
Death to Kuato.
I have a history of cancer in my family, so I have a small idea of what you are going through. Best wishes and sympathy.
Joe….you’ve got a LOT of folk in your corner on this one and we are all pulling for you.
Waves of positive energy from across the pond.

I wish there was some quote I could pull from Babylon 5 that would help make things better… or at least make you smile. But I got nuthin’. Hang in there -

I too had a Kuato diagnosed back in July. I’m afraid mine was a junior version (fist sized), but I had surgery, and am halfway through Chemotherapy. Keep the faith my man. It’s one of those cancers that can be beaten. Keep it positive, and just keep telling yourself that it’ll be gone soon, and you can get on with the business of surviving.
Peace.
Thoughts, deepest empathy and very best wishes for a successful outcome, Joe.
Just found out about your cancer from Summer. I am an 11 year survivor. Use the email address I left here or with Summer for you to contact me. If not me, then find a survivor and talk to them. It helps, I know.
One step at a time, worry about today today and tomorrow tomorrow.
Every case is different, so the first rule is that you must convince yourself that you will survive this.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
