Show #23: Pre-show Discussion
by SummerDecember 6, 2006, 10:00 am | In Show Topics |
Show #23 will be about “Gateway”, by Frederick Pohl.
It’s a now-classic that won the Nebula Award in 1977, and the Hugo and John W. Campbell Awards in 1978. But it’s also the first in Pohl’s Heechee Saga, and you know how we can get about first books in a series.
Hope you’ve read up on it!

Quite by accident I am halfway through this book at this very moment, I shall have to finish up for the show!

I started going back and dusting off the classics myself over the last couple of years, so I was really excited to find out about this podcast!
For the most part, I enjoyed Gateway, so I’m looking forward to hearing the commentary on a few aspects of the story.
