Yes, I've been known to go trawling on the podcast waves, looking for other scifi and fantasy related podcasts, and podcasts about old shows. Since I'm doing one for Babylon 5, I like to see what other older shows people out there are geeking about.

I kinda wish I could find one about older British SF and Fantasy. Even if you don't count Doctor Who (since there are already a dozen podcasts out there on the subject), there's still much to choose from: The Prisoner, Sapphire and Steel, The Tomorrow People, Robin of Sherwood, and I'm sure there are many I'm missing.
Do you guys consider "The Avengers" with Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg to be SF/F or not?

Yeah I would say that The Avengers is SF/F
A great old-school podcast is Spaceship Radio. (www.spaceshipradio.com and iTunes). Its main content is episodes of "X minus 1", a radio show from the 50s featuring dramatized adaptations of scifi short stories.
They vary from the sublime to the ridiculous, and it's well worth a listen.
No, I'd disagree on the Avengers. While there where episodes that had a distinct (if campy) SF angle, the show as a whole, I think, falls more into the realm of action/adventure.
Tim but either it IS or isn't SciFi. Granted it has a HUGE element of action adventure to it true, but since it does have that campy scifi as well (robots, mind control, just to name a couple) I'd have to say that it does fall under sci-fi. Granted not hard-core scifi ala B5, Trek or Star Wars, but a type of scifi none the less.
Anyhow either way you look at it it's still one heck of a show!
Agree about the Avengers, plus the budgets constraints always gave it a fantastical feel to me, since they were so few bystanders. There was one quote given in a scifi mag about the first few series...If you are in the shot you are in the plot, since they often couldn't afford extras.

There was also `Out of the Unknown', which adapted many classic short scifi stories, sadly the BBC dumped many of the episodes.
