Joe Murphy — In Loving Memory
by BrianApril 1, 2007, 6:30 pm | In Ninja News |
We are sad to announce that our beloved friend and colleague Joe Murphy left us today to his on going battle with leiomyosarcoma. We loved him very much and will be greatly missed in our lives. We bid farewell to a dear and sweet man.

And here is probably the most fitting tribute ever, drawn by Cheyenne Wright. ‘Nuff said.

I felt that I knew it was coming, but I know that Joe did not want anyone to worry about him. This pic of him and Cap makes me cry and laugh at the same time. We will miss you Joe!!

I was greatly saddened to read the news of Joe’s passing. I have not had the chance to listen to the past podcasts that included Joe, and I feel a loss at not having the pleasure of listening to those podcasts as the came out. I can say one thing about Joe. You can know something of a man by the friends he keeps, and those that care about him. Of those that I know of, who fell into those categories, I can say that Joe was one helluva man. It was our honor to know him for even a short time. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

I will greatly miss his sense of humor and quiet voice of reason on all the myriad podcasts he was involved with. He was a terrific counterpoint to both Evo and Summer (albeit in very different ways!).

I came to KAMN about a year ago. I have since become a fan of Far Point Media. I love all of the hosts but for some reason Joe was my favorite. Joe was so straight forward and quick witted at times that I would just wait for joe to jump all over what others would say. I will miss Joe but I am sure he is in a much better place with free porn T.V.
Farewell Joe
