Any thoughts on the title meaning almost becoming a vampire?

You could easily do a “Near Dark ” & “The Lost Boys” double-feature.

Just found you guys and am really enjoying catchign up on old podcasts.

Near Dark is a great, gritty twist on vampire movies so it will be cool to hear your take on it.

Bill Paxton’s character does get a little abused towards the end, yes

More than that would be too spoilerrific.

And “One False Move” is a very good movie in which Paxton’s character doesn’t die. At least we’re left with the assumption that he doesn’t die. Damaged, but not dead.

Same with “A Simple Plan”. Severely emotionally damaged, but not dead.

…and let me guess…Bill Paxton’s character dies horribly.

This seems to be the Paxton curse: if his character suffers a terrible fate, then the movie is good; if not, the move ain’t so good.
